During the summer, I took apart an existing chandelier and used its frame to make this pendant light with wide rings of laminated dried yellow rose petals and grass seeds, and fluffy seed pods to show the delicateness and beauty of plants, especially the wild ones, including the fluffy trim of Virgin’s Bower seedpods, my favorite wild vine, that I always see on the side of the road. I also used the wild grass seed pods, painted gold, to make a pattern of silhouettes when over the translucent rose petals when lit from within.
