I was listening to The Night Circus audiobook by Erin Morgenstern while working on this one, and I think it reflects some of what I was hearing about a vivid, magical place that came alive at night- This is my version.

Made with molds of glass plates in craft glue, acrylics, thread and yarn on canvas. The plates were extremely satisfying to make- I got some glass plates from several thrift stores with raised designs and painted over them with glue in one thick layer, let the glue dry, then peeled each sheet off, painted and stitched over them before weaving them together edge to middle.
