After measuring out and filling in rings on my canvas with oil pastels, I used mod podge to glue down the colored magazine cuttings of people. I like the contrasting ideas in making something as ordered and symmetrical as a mandala out of people, each unique. The center of this mandala represents the present moment in time, each surrounding ring blooming with possibilities of identity.
